If 500 gives a wave, 1000 gives maxed out! Storm Erin didn’t disappoint, but it did max out for a while. Got in at 6am on the Tuesday and was impressed with myself when I got out and saw how big it had become. Took a few photos before work and it was backwashy, big and unruly.
30 people on a local quiet pointbreak was frustrating – a local lad got 2 waves in an hour, and he’s comp level – so I surfed the bay, which rarely works. Was fun on a foamy.
